Miroslava "Mirka" Federer (born Miroslava Vavrinec on 1 April 1978 in Bojnice, Czechoslovakia, then Slovakia) is a former WTA tennis player from Switzerland who retired from the game in 2002 due to a persistent foot injury. She is the wife of Roger Federer, having first met him at the Sydney 2000 Olympics. Since her retirement Mirka has frequently been seen on the ATP circuit attending Roger's matches.
